Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Samuel Fuentes, who operates Jamline (“Jamline”, “we”, “us”). They apply to the Jamline apps for Android, iOS and the web, and to jamline.com (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Who can use Jamline
You must be at least 16 years old, and older where the law of your country requires it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Jamline with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Accounts we identify as belonging to a younger user are removed.
Your account
Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. Keep your password confidential: you are responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us at info@jamline.com. You may not sell or transfer your account to anyone else.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post, upload or send on Jamline: music, recordings, videos, images, text and messages (“your content”).
So that we can run the Service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, display, distribute and translate your content, and to make technical changes to it such as converting or resizing files, only as far as needed to operate, provide and improve the Service. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we are required by law to keep.
You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you own it or have every right needed to share it, including the rights to any music, lyrics, samples or recordings it contains, and that it does not break these terms or the law.
Rules of conduct
You must not use Jamline to:
- post or send content that is illegal, or that infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone, or promote violence or hatred against people because of who they are;
- post sexually explicit content, or anything that sexualises or endangers a minor (see our Child Safety Standards);
- send spam, run scams or mislead other users;
- upload malware, or try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
- collect data from the Service by automated means, or disrupt or overload it.
Reporting, blocking and moderation
You can report a post or an account from inside the app, and block users you do not want to hear from. We review reports. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, and we report illegal content to the authorities where required. If you think we made a mistake, contact us at info@jamline.com.
Messages and calls
Messages and voice and video calls are between you and the people you talk to, and these terms apply to them as to everything else. How we handle them is described in the Privacy Policy.
Link pages
Your link page is part of your content, and these terms apply to it. Its links must not lead to anything these terms forbid, such as scams, malware or content that infringes other people’s rights. Anyone can report a page. We may switch off a page that breaks these terms and will tell you why in the app.
Advertising
Jamline is free to use and is supported by advertising shown in the app.
Our rights
The Service, including its software, design, logo and the Jamline name, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you no rights to them other than to use the Service as intended.
Other websites
Content on Jamline may link to websites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for them.
Ending your use
You can stop using Jamline at any time and delete your account in the app’s settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the Service. Where reasonable, we will tell you in advance.
Availability
We work to keep Jamline running, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change, add or remove features. Keep your own copies of content that matters to you.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data or profits, or for content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
If you break these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to compensate us for the resulting losses and costs, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of the Canton of Aargau, Switzerland, have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings there.
General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a part of these terms, that is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Jamline after that, the updated terms apply.
Translations
These terms are available in several languages. If the versions differ, the English version prevails.
